Purpose of this website

This website exists to share stories and raise funds to support school classes and education-related needs for children in Rwanda.

All donations made through this website are collected and administered by Sangira, an officially registered nonprofit organization. Funds are used in alignment with Sangira’s charitable mission and programs.

Donations and fund distribution

Donations are pooled and distributed to support entire school classes and related educational needs, rather than individual children.

While we strive for transparency and fairness, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes or the exact allocation of any individual donation.

Payment processing

All payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store or have access to your full payment information. By donating, you also agree to Stripe’s applicable terms and privacy policies.

Nonprofit status and tax deductibility

Donations made through this website are processed by Sangira, a registered nonprofit organization. Tax deductibility depends on your country of residence and applicable tax laws. Please consult a tax professional if you have questions.

Voluntary donations and refunds

All donations are made voluntarily and are generally non-refundable.

If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us and we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis.

Limitation of liability

We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of this website or from donation processing services, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
