Humura Iratuzi Violette

While each child has their own story, donations are pooled and shared evenly to support the entire class.

My name is Humura Iratuzi Violette. I am 24 years old and I was born in Nyagatare. I grew up in a loving family, but after some years, my life changed when my mother became mentally ill. This became our biggest challenge and brought a lot of pain and hardship to our family.Because of this, my father took full responsibility to care for us alone. It was not easy for him, and as children, we felt the weight of those struggles every day. Watching my father work so hard taught me the value of strength, sacrifice, and hope.As the eldest daughter, I carry a deep responsibility to support my family. I strongly hope to get a chance to join Sangira and study hospitality. I believe this opportunity will not only change my life but will also help me change my family’s story for the better.
