Ishimwe Sandrine

While each child has their own story, donations are pooled and shared evenly to support the entire class.

My name is Ishimwе Sandrine, and I am 22 years old. I was born in Nyamasheke. I grew up in a very poor family, and life has always been a struggle. Sometimes we could barely eat twice a day, and getting basic needs was very difficult. We are a family of ten people, and my parents have worked very hard to provide for us, even though they do not have permanent jobs. Watching them struggle to put food on the table has been painful, but it has also taught me the value of perseverance and responsibility. All I want in life is to learn a skill that will help me get a good job so that I can support my family. I believe that getting this opportunity will not only change my life but will also bring hope and stability to my family.
