NIYONASENZE Desange
While each child has their own story, donations are pooled and shared evenly to support the entire class.
Desange was raised in a hardworking but extremely poor family in Musanze District. Economic hardship forced her to interrupt her education, leaving her vulnerable and emotionally discouraged. She often felt forgotten and invisible. Art for Change Rwanda opened a new chapter in her life by bringing her back to school and introducing her to sewing. As she creates with her hands, Desange is also rebuilding herself-esteem. Her dream is to become financially independent and support her family one day.
