NSHUTI Clever

Clever was born in 2016 and grew up in Musanze District, Rwanda, in a family burdened by extreme poverty. His mother worked tirelessly, taking on small jobs like washingclothes for others just to put food on the table, while his father worked as a cobbler, repairing worn-out shoes to support the family. Despite their efforts, resources were limited, and Clever’s early education and growth were full of challenges. Life was not easy for Clever. Limited access to school materials, financial struggles, and thedaily hardships of his family made learning a constant struggle. Yet, even amidst these difficulties, Clever showed resilience and a quiet determination to build a better future.Everything began to change when Clever joined Art for Change Rwanda. There, he found a supportive and nurturing environment that encouraged learning and creativity. Through painting and drawing, Clever discovered a space to express him, develop his talents, and rebuild his confidence. Today, Clever is thriving in Primary Three and is actively engaged in the Painting and Drawing Department. He is a bright, hardworking child, full of hope for the future, and driven by a strong desire to succeed. The support of Art for Change Rwanda has given him the tools to transform his challenges into opportunities, and he now dreams boldly of a future filled with possibilities.Clever’s story is a testament to resilience, determination, and the transformative power of creativity. From the struggles of poverty, he has emerged as a young boy full of hope, talent, and the courage to shape his own path.
