SUGIRA Sabine Queen

While each child has their own story, donations are pooled and shared evenly to support the entire class.

Sabine Queen grew up in Musanze District in a single-parent household where daily survival was uncertain. Poverty interrupted her schooling and placed her at constant risk of exclusion and hopelessness. As a young girl, she watched opportunities slip away simply because her family could not afford school materials. When Sabine joined Art for Change Rwanda, she found more than support—she found a family. Today, she is enrolled in Senior Two and is passionately learning sewing and fashion design. Through art, Sabine has regained confidence, dignity, and a powerful belief that her future can be different from her past.
