Twizerimana Pacifique

Pacifique is a male student born in 2013, living in Musanze District with his mother. From a young age, Pacifique faced the harsh realities of poverty, which greatly affectedhis access to education and overall development.His mother, a hardworking woman, had herself faced difficulties completing her education due to poverty and a lack of family support. Growing up in a household challenged by financial hardship and emotional strain, Pacifique experienced a childhood where basic needs were often scarce. These circumstances made his schooling difficult, and he struggled to keep up with his peers, often feeling left behind and discouraged. Despite these challenges, hope arrived when Pacifique joined Art for Change Rwanda. There, he found a safe and nurturing environment where he could express himself freely and receive guidance on both education and emotional well-being. Through mentoring and creative activities, Pacifique began to regain confidence and joy. Today, his face is often lit with a smile, and hecarries a renewed sense of hope, strength, and determination. Pacifique is now actively participating in painting and drawing, discovering his talent and building skills that inspire both himself and others. Art for Change Rwanda ensures that he has all the school materials and support he needs to study without worry. He now sees a future full ofpossibilities and is motivated to grow into a strong, capable young man who can make a meaningful impact in the world. Pacifique’s journey is a powerful testament to the fact that no child should be denied education or opportunity. From hardship and struggle, he has blossomed into a bright, hopeful, and talented young artist, ready to embrace the future with confidence and courage.
