Valentin Hagenimana was one of the students in Sangira's sixth cohort. Like many young Rwandans, he was looking for a way into steady, meaningful work, and Sangira gave him exactly that.

Through the programme, Valentin gained hands on training and the confidence to step into the hospitality industry. Today he has a job, and he is clear about where it came from. As he puts it himself, he has a job because of Sangira.

Valentin is thankful for the opportunity, and he hopes the programme will keep showing Rwandan youth the value of good, honest work. His journey is a simple one, but it says a lot: give a young person the right training and a real chance, and they will take it from there.
